Well the time has come to get back on the road. My experiences here in North Carolina have been well worth the visit, as I have made a few more great friends and ingested a great bit of information about the lifestyle of “work-camping”. That in itself has helped to establish a greater hope within me, for the future of my life living by choice, as a free walker. The camp at Rose Creek turned out to be a wonderful place. I was fortunate enough to spend good time and great conversation with Alan and Jean, two people that have been living this lifestyle for some time now. We even spent an entire day driving to different waterfalls and taking pictures along the way. I will be posting those at some time, although I am feeling a bit pressed for it right now as I need to get moving north on the 6-7 hour trip to Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. This will bring me about 350 miles closer to seeing my Mom, whom I miss very much and am growing more excited about seeing again. Money is working it’s way down as usual, but it’s plenty enough to get me where I need to go.
I have a few stories from here in N.C. that I will be writing about soon. One is an observation about listening to Intuition and the other is an update about the bear watch I was experiencing at the Rose Creek campground. That one is funny actually and it will be called something like, “Untold Legends: The Bear-Dog of Rose Creek”. Hehehe
That’s all for the time being so be good and remember, take at least one minute each day to watch a bird in the sky. It’s a guaranteed way to get you out of your minds self inflicted prison should it temporarily try to take hold…..
Peace friends, Steve.
